I got my first Busse in the mail today. That was quick!:) My worries about the edge angle are gone. This is one stout ,nice knife. It is hair popping sharp and I am very happy with it. It definetely won't be my last Busse.:thumbup:
 
Congrats on your Warden and your first Busse Knife :thumbup:. I have a bunch of Busse's and I think my Wardens are my favorites. It's just so much fuction in a tiny package :D

Thanks,The handle is very comfortable. Where is the best place to get a sheath and do I have to send my knife in to have one made?
 
It depends. A lot of sheath makers have models to make a sheath from right now but the warden models vary in thickness quite a bit from model to model. I would ask around but specify thickness while you are at it. You are bound to get the best fit by sending it to someone.

BTW- the BCS has a GW sheath in stock now. Most from the Busse site should have the pattern also.

FWIW... The original GW sheath fits both my AD and my MrS. :thumbup: :thumbup:

Really tempted to pick up a couple of the black sheaths for my sage set. :D

I have tried my Meaner in these sheaths and it doesn't fit. The blade length and profile of the Duties really maxes out the pouch.

Just to be sure... do you have one of the new ones?

I have an old one and it was already long enough for an AD and since the new ones are longer I was just wondering about the Meaners being a fit.
 
Tony, mine is indeed the new EDC handle Meaner. An older meaner might be a nice fit :thumbup:

I highly recommend Chuddy Bear for that sheath. I have one in leather with a belt clip for ease. It looks awesome and it fits even better :thumbup::thumbup: Chuddy can make the sheath w/o having your knife, another plus!!! If you email him, he can send you pics of his sheaths and a price list. I was totally impressed with his workmanship and deliver time :thumbup: He will make alot more sheaths for me! :) Congrats on your first Busse, and welcome to the Infi-sanity :D
 
I have 3 of the OLDER store sheaths which accomodate the HD well. If the newer ones are longer that would be outstanding since I need a sheath for my Meaner.

And Chuddy does great work. I have leather from Dwayne and Mt Mike too and have never been disappointed.

OK from Skunk's picks it looks like the new sheath is about .40 of an inch longer. That might work but is close, my old sheath almost holds my red Meaner and I don't know if .4 of an inch would help enough.
