Just scored one of these - satin tiger. I've wanted on for ages. It's .182 thick. You guys got any user pics or care to share your thoughts on this little Busse !!

I had one and traded it away, for some thing I needed a bit more (and later something I wanted a bit more) Anyway I traded it not because I didn't like it but because I had nothing else to trade with. The knife is AWESOME, its small but its one of the most comfortable knives I have ever came across, it was comfortable in every grip. Such comfort with Busse warranty/quality is an unbeatable combo. So congratulations on your score.

I wouldn't trade or sell this one unless circumstances were dire indeed.

In the .14" class, I also kept a black G10. I've been thinking about seeing if Busse will swap out the scales with a thicker green linen I have.

That's also a .14" in snakeskin. That one goes with me a lot of places. Took it on a recent solo backpacking trip.

It also makes a great drink stirrer.

And it is intimate with THE PORK.

There are still a few of us with complete sets ... and a few more with near-complete sets.

It's like a disease.:o:(

If you come by any of the thin ones, definitely keep them.

Brendan, congrats on the Tiger Warden. That one is a keeper, and those scales really pop with a little oil on them.

The GW's are a very handy size. Compact and lots of belly for the size.

The thinner ones are a completely different animal. Keepers for sure.

Always a good score. Of all the GW's that I had, the tiger was the nicest. Satin and tiger is a good combo.

I hate Game Wardens. :thumbdn::grumpy: ...Who knew what damage those little knives could possibly do to bank accounts & credit cards??? They're like Lays potato chips... And ya can't just own one, oh no...these little bastids hooked me on Busse knives of all types!!! Dang you, Jerry Busse!!!!!!!!!!
(By "hate" I mean love, and "dang you" I mean thank you!!!! ;) :D:thumbup:)

Congrats, Brendan, but be warned... GW's are worse than crack! :D I have 2 complete BCS sets + various others, myself.

This one from the Custom Shop, with credit for the assist to Amy, will always be my favorite one... :)

The thinner GWs are the perfect EDCs, and as Tony G says, one of the few Busse's that don't scare most non-knife people. I always have one in my pocket or office bag along with a SAK. And the slightly thicker stronger Satin/Tiger makes a great outdoors EDC. Enjoy!
(But watch out! - they thrive on a diet of credit cards and do tend to multiply out of control if you're not careful.)

My thin, satin & orange G10 "OJ" warden is one of my very favorite knives. I've been carrying it around for a few years now. That little thing has seen some duty! The more I beat on it, the better looking it gets. It has a mirror, convex edge now, and cuts like a laser. I hope Jerry gets around to another run of Wardens at some point, the thin satin ones are the best small knives Busse has ever made, IMHO. I'd like to have a couple more.

thanks lads - any pics of your users !!

especially satin tigers would be cool !!

with what guy said,

jaxx,
that is an awesome blade love the scales and it does look like it is of a thinner persuasion...

yep a game warden has got to happen, just don't see no way around it, but the thinner the better
