A good client has just asked me to track down a computer game that he'd like to buy for his 8-year old grandson.

He saw this game mentioned on a television program but didn't catch the name. It has something to do with a construction site and lots of equipment - front-end loaders, graders, fork lifts, etc. It has a control console with 3 joysticks that resembled (he said) the actual controls of a front end loader or cat. Part of the game consists of staying out of the way of an angry site manager as you race the clock to build something.

I know very little about construction sites, and even less about computer games!

Any help in tracking down the name of this game for my client would be much appreciated! (He's a very good client! $$$$$$$ ;) )

TIA!

I am curious what kind of client is this? Are you some sort of concierge?

ROFLMAO! :D

No, but there's a lot of "prostitution" going on in the business that I was in for over 30 years!

(I'm a writer/producer and I was President of an advertising agency for 24 years. The client in question is someone for whom I still do freelance PR and some media projects.)

But I think I'm going to look into this concierge thing - I might be on the road to a whole new career!

;)

Thanks for the links, Cros - but I think he said the game (or program?) comes with some kind of console that has three joysticks mounted on it (like you'd find on a real caterpillar). Maybe it's one of the Sim series - Sim-City, Sim Ant farm, Sim Zoo, etc. I'll keep digging. ;)
