Gander Mountain: Buck 110 $17.99

I was at Gander Mountain in the Denver metro today when I noticed that their clamshell 110's with leather sheaths were on sale for 17.99. I had to leave before I could find a clerk to ask how long the sale will last, but I did see that they had a stack of "$10 back on every 110" rebate coupons, so I guess you could end up with a 110 for $7.99 + $0.37 postage to mail back the rebate...

chances are to get the $17.99 price you have to use the rebate form.....Dicks did the same thing....$19.99 was the price shown but in small print it said after rebate

I don't think so -- the 17.99 was on the pegs, not on the rebate form.


EDIT: I'm confused. I'm positive the 17.99 was on the pegs but Gander Mountain's Web site states that the price is after rebate -- so, I guess Tom19176 is right. Good catch!

I only glanced at the form but I'm almost positive I saw that the 'mail to' address was Buck, not Gander Mountain.

Get a 110 for under $20 dollars? With that warranty? Put a thirty-something dollar upgrade on it, and you've got a knife to pass on to your great-great-grandchildren.
