Ganza basic 4... Who got one?

I was just curious as to who picked up one of these in the ganza? It was one of the only knives I felt compelled to go for but just couldn't swing it. So has anyone gotten a confirmation email on it or know a shipping time? I would love to hear a little review on it. I would love to see that blade still in black handle as well. Thanks for any assistance
 
I second the request. That harpoon edge kept me from buying it, it seemed...less then ideal.
 
The harpoon was why I wanted it. The size seems ideal and the res-C speaks for itself, I wanted it with a black handle, but I'll grab one if or when it hits the exchange. I love the look

Thanks, not the first time I've heard that, I'm more into the fat blades. I don't know that I would ever opt for an anorexic anything.... Plus my wife works with eating disorders so the vernacular is touchy at best with her. She is not a huge fan of the anorexic or fat names...
 
I've used my fat basic4 ever since they were first released, great skinner and general small task outdoor blade.

WD/B4 handle is my favorite Res-C for small/medium blades. If the B4 variant had been satin or DC, I would have bought it.

Regulator handle is my favorite for med/large blades. Busse should make a few B8, B9, B10, B11, B15 for Labor Day Ganza (hint, hint) with Regulator handle.

How come no-one will fess up to purchase? I don't understand the secrecy...

Garth are there any left? Maybe you could throw a black handle on that basic 4 variant from the ganza that apparently no-one bought. I'm good for it...
 
There are many of our customers who only use Bladeforums for Ganzaaaaa offerings only and normally do not check back once they receive confirmation. We may never know :D Maybe we will get lucky and the person who scored it will see this thread :thumbup:
