A girl needs a knife...how 'bout that punkin!

Sweet blade.

I know you're happy with that one!!!!

Congratulations.

Awesome score. :) Let us know how that blade performs. I have never used that style of blade. Looks like a mean slicer. Enjoy.

Sweet score, those 'bills are sweet, especially the punkin ones!!! Prolly better for pruning than for slicing. Still waiting for my CGs!!:eek:

Nice score! I am sure they will be good slicers and slashers  Still waiting for mine!

Congrats, azshaman, on your first Ganza score!!!! Very nice pumpkin Scrofa!:thumbup:

Congrats! Amy told me 3-5 weeks...I wonder why the wait?

P J 234, as ya know, the Ganza items are shipped when ready, & in order of first emails into Busse, requesting each... If you are waiting for one of these Scrofa's... Most likely there were a few already made, and not sold at the Knob Creek show, where they were also available (hence the title, "Knoboganzaaaa"), but a few folks requesting this same item must have gotten their emails in before you in line and received the ones ready to go, so when more are finished, then they'll ship out to the rest, yourself included, who've also requested this knife & scored. :D  Congrats to you too, BTW... Is this also your first Ganza score? :)

WARNING! This is pure speculation and should not be considered a definitive answer.

My best guess is that Jerry is making amends for the email issue. Rather than just limiting himself to what was on hand, he and the gang are making SOME of the more common models to help meet demand.

Again, this is just speculation. Any resemblance to reality is purely coincidental.

I speculate that almost everything was ready to go but Amy told you the company line of 3-5 weeks because Jerry wanted to CYA.

I scored some different ones, but I thought they were pretty much all made already for these 'ganzas. I think it took '2 weeks' on the couple I've gotten before.

I wasn't aware of the email problems when I spoke with her, so that's probablyl what happened. Not complaining either way, just curious!

I'm only guessing but:

* Some Ganza scores go out immediately - receipt in a week or two.
* Some Ganza scores have taken many weeks to months for arrival. No complaint, mind you, but it is obvious that some are either "in production and not complete" or "made to order." I'm guessing many are made to order with a limit in place of, say (5) of #697, the purple eucalyptus handle Vampire Slayer to not overload the Custom Shop. The first five people score #697 based on email receipt time - the others are declined.

Then again, this is only sheer supposition on my part. It may only be based on Amy's :thumbdn: and  list. :p

Helle- The orange G10 was really nice on the SS in person. Same for the ASH1 Custom.
