WOOT! Just received this beauty in the mail. Scored it, but didn't score it in the Ganza if that makes sense. It wasn't offered, but I asked about it and got it! :D

Garth outdid himself with this one. It's a real piece of work. Those of you that got to see it at the Creek can attest to that. (And yes PM, I did disinfect the handles! Still smells funny though...)

The blue on the handle really pops, and is matched nicely on both sides. The upper swedge is perfect, and the balance is sweet. This thing is fast! I've never had the privalege of handling a Mojo, so this is a first. The grind is different than the regular Mojo's, which is what I really like about it. Especially the point. I have to thank Eli for passing on this one at the Creek. Thanks bro! :D Don't worry though, I've already willed it to you should anything happen to me. :p

To Jerry, Amy, Garth, and the rest of the Busse crew: THANK YOU!!

I really need to find out how to take better pictures at work, but you gets what you gets.

WOW that one's blade looks a lot like the Proto Bowie

With the exception of the blade catch, and the handle, I'd venture to say they're very similar. The proto bowies are real eye-catchers too.

Yes that doesn't look like the MOJOs I have had. I like it better:thumbup:

Thanks Tony. It's the upper swedge that really does it for me. It just looks really good. I'm super, extremely, bamboozledy, psyched I scored it. This may be one of "those" type of knives for me. "Those" being a Grail type knife. (Much like your mammoth tooth AD I really, really, really like ;) )

That top flying Mojo you pictured is nice!

dude, that is awesome !!!

take care of her, because i'm definitely going to outlive you now...

oh, and this one is dramatically lighter and faster than a standard mojo...

The balance point seems to be right at or slightly before the talon hole. Makes the blade move very fast. The handles are extremely comfortable too. I may be spoiled on Mojo's now, but I still want to check out what a regular CG one is like. I think I found a new love with the Mojo's/Mofo's.

It's all your fault for telling me about them Eli! :D

Dan--that Mojo is a real beauty! I love the handles...bet she feels very good in the hand! Sweet score!

A girl needs a knife..

The more I keep handling this, the more I want to use it. Other than Bravadoink, anybody have any objections to me beating the snot out of it? :D

I never say this, but that particular Mojo is just too pretty to use. Gorgeous lines on that one, and the handles are nice, too.

About the CG Mojo: I've handled several Custom Shoppe Mojos and one CG, and the CG really felt clunky and uncomfortable in the handles compared to the CS versions. It was really disappointing.

Good info to know  I've seen plenty of Mojos/Mofos, but they didn't really appeal to me. This one on the other hand, really pushes my buttons. If all the Mojos looked like this, I think there'd be alot more interest in them. I'd still like to try out a CG one, now that I have a newfound respect for them.

That, and mine just may be too pretty to use. :D
