I'm seriously having a difficult time waiting for my blade to arrive. It just got nice out today, im looking forward to getting outside and using some steel.

I certainly hope that I'm not the only one who's getting antsy.....
 
Oh. I know it will show up when it shows up. I'm just sayin. Winters long. I'm getting bored and antsy. What better way to kill both birds than with time in the dirt? Ya?

A number of years ago, Swamp Rat had a lead time on knives that would range from 3 months to a year and a half. The toughest wait was for your first rat, usually a Camp Tramp or Ratweiler. This type of thread would pop up fairly frequently.

It was interesting, though, how waiting for your knife became comfortable. Once your knife would arrive, you would place another order just to join the wait again. It seemed as though everybody there was having fun - brothers in anticipation.

All that said, I'm no longer acclimated to the wait. But it sure is reassuring to have my order in for a B8. :D
 
Yes. I'm comfortable. That sounds like a fair description. But. The more I think about it. The more I wish that I had ordered a B8... Will I never be satisfied? ;)
 
I'm anxious to get my Ganzaa knives, too. Luckily, my Desert Crusader is supposed to ship out in 1 - 3 weeks......but wait! I added blue liners so it might take longer. Nooooooo!

Actually it will be worth the wait and then I have a SWATmandu coming.

Luckily(?) we still have a lot of snow on the ground so if the Desert Crusader came today I wouldn't be able to run behind the house and into the woods to try it out. Well, I suppose I could if I slapped on a pair of snowshoes.

To help pass the time before my DC arrives, I've started shopping around for the perfect lanyard bead for it and so far this is my favorite one:

They had sterling silver ones on EDCknives.com, but they're sold out right now. There's a bronze one on that oh so popular auction site right now. :D
