Nice pics I was wondering if there was any difference between the two.
Thanks for these and congrats.

I could have sworn the picture of the knife we ordered at ganza had a noticeably narrower spike...

The Blade version also had a thicker edge grind but I coundnt get a good picture of that. They are both awesome :)

I also reversed the sheaths, Buy Brown Blade version and Ganzaa Mashed Cat. They fit ok reversed and retained ok but not nearly as well as they did matched properly. That is how I noticed the heads sitting a few degrees different. It also seemed like the handle edges are parallel on the blade version, and flared toward the grip of the ganzaa version, but not very much

Hmm, interesting.
I will see how mine fit when they get here.
Glad I will have both.
Thank you for the pics

Yes, the heads are the same. They fit in the same sheath;)

Has anyone had the opportunity to use both? I would like to know if one chops or throws better than the other. I was gonna start a new thread but found this one and decided to resurrect it. I know of the physical differences, so any difference when in use?

I haven't thrown wifey's BLADE version yet but we both plan to.
Why would you worry about the scales?
Jody
NO REGRETS

Hard impacts to the scales only in a direction perpendicular to the tube fasteners can tweak them out of alignment which makes for a very uncomfortably sharp grip. It doesn't happen very often, but when it does it would have to be fixed by the shop or they could be drilled out and replaced with something stronger like solid bolts, but it is not obviously not an issue with the ganza hawks.
