Piglet here-I'm just curious on stocking and shipping differences between the Ganza's and Company Store orders. Do they have the same turn-around times or is one faster than another? This is my first Ganza and I scored big time.

Company store will almost always have the items in stock for immediate shipment. 'Ganza knives are sometimes ready to ship, but more often require a wait of several weeks.

Remember that the Company store is not really part of the Busse Group. It is a seperate entity.

In my experience, the company store is ridiculously fast to ship, and gets things to me in Canada faster than I usually expect to be possible. Given at least a few weeks delay for shipping in the Ganzaa, as my email warned would be possible, I would suggest you relax and try to wait patiently. I know it's hard. :D

yes and no....the knives are still made by Jerry. Its not like skunk says, "I think I'll grind out some SAR3 and sell them on my own.":D

The Company Store may be a separate entity. But I believe it's safe to say that the relationship between Busse Combat and the Company Store is a little less than arm's length.

Could you elaborate on that?

the busse company store is owned and operated by idahoskunk.

he typically gets knives that are exclusive to the store, like the game wardens and sars. orders from the bcs are real time, and the order page reflects this. skunk does not offer knives for sale he is not ready to ship. at least not that i can remember.

as mentioned, ganzaas are totally different. some knives may be ready to ship, some may still be in the works.

Idahoskunk is a shifty old man. He is wise and dwimmercrafty.

Have you ever seen the show Ninja Warrior???

Well, Skunk is kind of like that. He lives in a secret layer, high on a mountain. He Trains all year long to sneak and Ninja his way thought the obstacles that keep one from infi.

He sneaks in several times year and steals loads of infi, then sells them on the black market (otherwise known as the companystore).

Tune in next time and I will explain where babies come from.

You're right. It's much less than arm's length. It is a handshake relationship. Skunk orders, Jerry makes and ships, Skunk pays. Other than the size of the orders and the special models that are available to him, it is the same relationship that most of us have with Busse Combat. (Excluding those on Amy-0's list of course.)
