garage sale find

A friend of mine asked me to help him pick out a couple knives at a garage sale. He picked up a Case sowbelly and a Buck 119 made between 1973-1986 with Atkinson style sheath for $55.00 for the pair.
My question is what color did Case call this, it looks like a pocket-worn black/gray/purple. I can't seem to find any others that have this color. Any info would be appreciated.Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure it's just called black jigged bone, and I think it's from 2001.
If you do a search on the big auction site you will see some darker and some lighter.
 
That does look like Case's Pocket Worn Black.

Edit to add: Does it have "TB6339 SS" on the blade? It looks like the Tony Bose production knife from 2001.
 
Thanks everybody I was kinda leaning toward the jigged black but that sounded to easy.
bwperdue you are correct on the id number and the year.
