Garcia "Skookum" repro on market now.

They are similar, but honestly, a lot of knives are similar in shape. The Swedes might have a word or two for you if you think the SBT is a 100% original blade design.

By the way, I mean zero disrespect towards Rod. I'm in fact on his books and have about a little under two years to go. I'm looking forward to getting my SBTs from him. I ordered a matched set two years ago, one for myself, and one for my father. They're going to be excellent.

Well, BR does economy Randall style so why not Rod Garcia...but i do not think either are a coincidence as to design....

Well, the email that went out for those who are signed up for KSF's newsletter had some information. This new company is run by a friend of Derrick's and these are his first knives that he had Bark River produce for him. They seem very nice, and I'm sure given BR's quality that they are. I would say that these would probably considered very similar to the run of Bark River Scandi grind bushcraft knives they put out a short while ago. Those came in and were gone almost instantly. They looked very similar to this new company's product.

Derrick's friend is someone many of us are familiar with. It will be interesting to see where this goes.

There are a lot of knives out there that look like other knives. This one is a great Scandi style knife among others.
