Gentlemen,
I just acquired a John Garcia "Zipper".
I bought it just from a photograph, but it looks even better
in person. It starts out as .25" steel and ends up as a needle point.
To Me it's a radical Wharncliff blade.
It looks like something Newt Livesay would create
if he had one of Gil Hibben's nightmares.

Anyway, on to my question.
One side of the blade is marked "Garcia".
The other side is marked with just an "A".
Can I assume this is A2 steel ?

Any other feelings on this knife ?

Thanks in advance for any insight you can give me.
