I need a garden hose...I've been told about a hose that goes falt like a fire hose I found some here and here

Anybody have one of these? Are there better ones? I need a hose in the front and the back so this very portable solution looks good to me.

So tell me about your hose experiecne! :D err um :footinmou

Just remember, you have to unwind that hose ALL the way before you are going to get any water through it.

I used it for a while but was not impressed. It was too narrow and even if you needed two feet of hose had to unwind the entire length.

Furthermore you had to open the supply valve all the way. partial pressure did not fully 'inflate' the hose.

They also wear out alot quicker.......

I had one of the supermarket $14.95 fifty footers. Deploying the entire hose every time was a minor hassle but not too, too bad because it is very easy to reel it back in. It only lasted through the spring and summer of general watering and car washing usage before it sprang a leak and I tossed it.

This year I'll just buy the best super-flexible garden hose I can find - probably a Gilmour.

Okay so if those fire hose type are a bad idea then...

What hose and reel combo do you recommend?

Thanks!
