The “Hori Hori’ made in Japan is excellent (( not a sales forum )) for a garden tool. It would be an excellent defense blade while in the garden. Way better than 75% of my folders. Dig, weed, transplant, divide, shovel, and cut in the garden. Sharp double edge combo blade. It has two rivets and a steel shank through about half way in the handle. It feels very solid.

Features:
Carbon Steel blade
Blade is beveled for shoveling
Blade has a serrated edge for sawing
Blade is marked for depth measurement
Vinyl sheath included
Wood Handle, 5.25”
Carbon Steel Blade, 7”
Length, 12.25”
9.3 oz

I put Para cord:) thru the drilled out handle hole in mine for my wrist and also to hang in the shop. Anyone else use this in the Garden? The picture does not give it justice. One needs to feel and use it.

Description: Hori-Hori means “dig-dig”! These knives are multipurpose – weed, plant, divide perennials, even cut sod. They are beveled for shoveling and have a serrated edge for sawing. The blade is marked for depth measurement for easy planting. This tool has become a favorite amongst Master Gardeners! Vinyl sheath included.
