Decided today to add to my planter area so I can get some more seeds in the ground. Used the 1311 to cut the grass on the perimeter of the player footprint, to make it easier to remove it with a pick axe.
Here's where they are going
Here's my first section, potatoes, beets, purple orach, tomatoes and corn
Here there are Brussel sprouts and a dragon fruit vine
My first planter build
Who would have thought, a garden tool
Chopped along the perimeter
Done
Went through several rocks ( there is only an inch or two of dirt, then mostly rock) no real damage whatsoever
Random wire in the way, not for long!
After a lot of pick axe and shoveling, got them in and level.
Toughening up the hands
Just wanted to share this here too. I've found gardening to be extremely rewarding and fun, I would recommend it to anyone and everyone, at least once. Just grow something, it really gives a sense of what it takes to grow food ( at least it did for me).
