I needed to cut back my elephant garlic this week that I grow every year and I was thinking my Aviator would make it a lot more fun than my normal clippers. I even had my wife out cutting some. Our's grows to about 6' tall. Here's a pic of some of the leftovers.

so..what does the blade smell like? I had to ask!

Your title had me scared.   For a minute I thought Chris was starting one of those gardening shows my Wife loves so much. That would have been disastrous. I can hear her now "Well Chris did it on his show and it looked very nice. So you'll be planting 100 African Blackwood trees in the back yard".

The knife definitely smelled like garlic by the time I was taking the picture. With a couple of baths though you can hardly tell now (or maybe I'm just immune to the smell at this point).

Unfortunately, when I was walking back in the house I dropped it and it fell point first into my slab concrete basement floor. Thankfully and somewhat surprisingly, the knife looks just fine, the tip barely even got scratched.
