Just got home from another trip and the Garud I ordered had arrived! This one is by Durba and is one the last khuks he made before leaving I am told. The spine is not 1/2" thick but close enough for me. The head (handle) is kind of interesting but well done. Didn't know if I really wanted one of these, but am glad I got one! I probably won't be using it, as I have a regular AK I use but am sure it would do just fine if the need arose. Sure glad to see that a new shipment is sent from Pala. Hate to think that this one might have been the last! It's already causing a new case of HIKV. Oh well

The Garud can be used but is not user friendly. The handle makes it pretty much a show piece.
