Just got this one in the mail   :D :D

Gary Blanchard - Screaming Eagle
blanchard3.jpg

I'm trying to find some original details on this one - lots of questions:

SKU? (P/N#) - (It didn't come with the box) - I've seen 'C13EPS-GBE' in posts (C13EPS-GBW for the Lone Wolf version) and 'C13GBE'

Latest MSRP was $262.95. Discontinued in 1993 ?

Read some post that Gary Blanchard still made them in 1999 through a company called 'Pro-Cut'?

Is it this http://www.blanchardscutlery.com/bio/Gary_Blanchard.htm Gary Blanchard that did the engraving?

And, was this all hand-work? What materials are used?

How many were made?

Thanks,
Ted

Hi Ted. Beautiful piece.

We made them as a collaboration with Gary Blanchard in conjunction with Pro-Cut. Gary is an exceptionally talented artist as well as a very skilled knifemaker.

There were several variations of the "hunter" model and Police model. Gary engraved and then cast the pieces for the models and fastened them.

The best place to get all of the particulars would be from Gary Blanchard, who runs a knife store in Las Vegas in addition to being a US knifemaker's Guild member, or Bob Miller at Pro-Cut, a knife Distribututor in Los Angeles.
