Gary Tucker

Does anyone have any information on a custom maker by the name of Gary Tucker? I have the opportunity to buy one of his pieces at a relatively low price, but I can't seem to find any information on him.

I did a little research and got a little bit. He makes moderately plain blade knives with intricate but traditional handles. Good mix of fashion and function, no frills functional blade with a great looking handle. Most of his knives seem to go for North of $300, and he seems to largely use ATS-34, which is a cleaner cousin of 154cm, a little better performance but not equal to CPM-154. He also send to make pretty few knives a year, so they are more uncommon.

If you can get the model for a good price and you like his styling, it doesn't seem like you will be disappointed.
