Hey mate

I see you put your BG42 in the for sale forum.

I am just wondering... if you are not happy with it then is it not best to send it back to Buck for them to have put right? If you tell them how you want it then I am sure they will do right by you........

Just a question

Mav

Nice score Goose,
I contemplated it, just to try the BG-42 but, I figured you would be along to return it to its fellow BG brothers and buffcotes!
She looks like a keeper to me!

he he yeah I saw....nice catch its a really nice knife :)

Thanks Mav...
ANOTHER service you did for your brethren. First ya helped out John, then Gary by yakking about his sale post, and then me by saving me time in waiting for the same knife I was gonna order.
You get a merit badge for certain!

You're right Jim.
I am really looking forward to receiving it. Want to compare it to the buff on the 110 Buckcote from you. This one may be the user of my 110BG-42's as I like the grip on the BuffCote I got from ya.

I will Jim...
But interesting that our thoughts on the rarity (sp?) of the two.
Thinking I would use the Buff BG-42 as EDC since the 110 BuckCote is more scarce. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

I dont think the 110 in BG is scarce Goose!
I only have one knife in BG, its a Zipper, that one is scarce...
I am unsure whether to use it or not:confused:
The buckcote is also scarce, but it is razor sharp and I love using it, some things just cannot be avoided :D
They were meant to be used as knives I guess and some I just really like to use! I have to get out camping and use that nighthawk more too!

...Really great that you got that one gooser... That's a fine lookin' Buff there...
