I've been a member of a men's Bible study for several years. We talk about Jesus, hunting, fishing and of course knives from time to time. Anyway when Gary came to the meeting last week he had with him half a very large elk rack which he gave to me. Right off the bat I counted 6 or 7 handles from the tines alone. At the time I was working on a blade and having a hard time getting the guard to fit up properly so I decided to stop before I screwed things up. This blade was going to be Victoria's Secret. Long story short after I finished up Brand X I picked up this blade and brought it over to the elk rack and found a perfect match. I'll be giving Gary his new knife tonight. The blade 6 3/4" forged out of 1065 with an overall 11". The fittings are all from an iron buggy wheel.

Ray, you old fa*t. You just keep on amazing me and everybody else. Its probably a good thing that we don't live closer than we do. I would probably be camped outside your shop every night.

Great looking package, and thanks for giving us poor-folk a look.

That's a great looking knife! Too bad for me I'm the wrong Gary.

Your knife styles have a natural flow. Just beautiful what you achieve. You have an eye for it. No doubt.
Great material choices, as well- stag is perfect!

LOL Victoria's Secret, thats where you get your designs from... :D Nice knife, diggin the blade shape.

Wow! I don't know what it is about that knife, but I can't stop looking at it. What a package - everything from the handle material, to the guard, to the sheath just works in perfect harmony. At first it appears to be a fairly simple knife until one starts to notice how the different textures and colors compliment one another. Plus, as others have mentioned, the design just flows. Beautiful work!

Ray, I like everything about that knife and I'm sure Gary will too. Terrific gesture on your part as well.

Oh wow, I love that one Ray!

I can't wait to see what you come up with for the other 5 or 6 pieces of elk rack!

Nice job Ray !!!

I was wondering what you did with those catalogs. I thought you probably used them for something else!!!!!!!!:foot:

Steve, You had me scratching my head for a few seconds. Now I know where your coming from. The drawing is on a lid to a box that I guess my daughter left here last Christmas. The catalogs are long gone......... :D
