Anything where you are? I'm west of San Antonio. Apparently there's a few stations in SA that went dry and everyone is loosing their minds.

I heard water supply was dead in Port Aransas and they were moving people out of the hospital to Houston...??

Here is a question: How do they handle Prison Inmates??? They have to be moved...

Hope you guys stay safe. It was crazy up here during Sandy. Lines a 1/2 mile long , not of cars but people standing on the shoulder with their one 5 gallon jug they were allowed to fill up.

Every gas station on the way home had long lines - hoping it is just a "monkey see monkey do" thing. Luckily all my vehicles have full tanks because prices were a lot higher than earlier in the week.

I work in Dallas and live about 45 miles north of there. On the commute home this evening most of the gas stations I passed were out of gas. The few that had it had lines out into the streets. I filled up both of our vehicles on my day off Tuesday because I figured the prices were going to go up. Glad I did because this looks bad. I'll be driving the wife's Subaru instead of my pickup for the foreseeable future.

I read that Port Aransas was supposed to get their restored today.

Meanwhile, here in Beaumont, we lost water this morning when the Neches River swamped the primary pumping station, and the secondary system went down too. There's no timeline for water to be restored.

And the roads in and out are flooded, so it's hard to get anything in, or for people to get out. They announced on TV that a local business (Jason's Deli) had brought in an 18-wheeler of water and was giving it away (2 cases per vehicle), and within a half an hour, there was a line over a mile long.

At least one hospital closed due to a lack of water, and they said on the news they were taking at least some of the patients out by helicopter. I'm not sure where they're sending the patients, but they id say it wasn't Houston. Helicopters have been flying over my house all day.

The federal prison said they weren't going to be moving inmates, but I think that was before the water went out. Or maybe they have their own wells.

Trust me there are backup plans in place. I work at one of the ice center. We had all the immigrants from the other center over the weekend. That many lives on the line thee are contingency for everything

I am in E TN. Went and got gas tonight in my Jeep. 2.35 a gallon. Up about .30 in two days. Rumors on FB that Chattanooga is about out and Knoxville distribution hub will be out tomorrow. That may be just one of those FB lies.

I hope you continue to remain out of harms way...Smoke and Prayers to all those affected by this Crazy Storm!!!

Fuel is getting scarce in Dallas. I was able to get a full tank of diesel yesterday, but there isn't gas at many places.

It's mainly the masses freaking out via social media. It's just a matter of getting the gas to gas stations. I've seen too many pictures like this.... Higher demand with less supply means higher prices. Higher prices and people panicking. Like if everyone went to the bank to withdraw all of their money at the same time; it would end badly.

Lmao. You're not allowed to fill up Buckets with fuel in NJ. Hope they have lids for those things. It be great if they were smoking while filling those.

I want to see some genius use a Styrofoam cooler- I can't believe they let someone fill garbage cans - no, I could see someone shutting the pumps off on people doing stuff like that. This is kind of flirting with getting into the "Annual Darwin Awards" comp whether they know it or not.

Getting better on the North East side of San Antonio today. Driving around we saw much shorter lines and much less of the short tempers.

I'm by Kerrville there isn't any gas to be bought within 50 miles of us I've called every station.

We're over here in Live Oak, near the little lake. :D
