Gatco TRI-SEPS Ceramic vs Gatco TRI-SEPS Diamond

I hear that the ceramic TRI-SEPS gives a fine finish slowly and that the diamond coated TRI-SEPS gives a coarse finish fast. Is this an accurate desciption? Or do both give a similarly keen edge? That said, at the same price, which one is preferable to the other?

Ive got both. the diamond one, like any other diamond sharpener will remove material quicker and make a coarse edge. the ceramic will not remove as much material and will make an edge not as coarse as the diamond.
