Count me in as well, the last one was pretty good.

Our club, the Gateway Area Knife Club meets monthly at the same location. We meet the second Thursday of every month around 6pm and hang out until around 8pm. We average around 30 or so guys a month at each meeting. Feel free to come. The next meeting is this upcoming Thursday, January 8th.

Thanks M.FREEZE, if I may ask what goes on at the meetings?

We basically just hang out and talk knives. A lot of guys bring their knives to show off. Some guys sell and trade. At 7:00pm we have a 10-15 minute "meeting" where new business and upcoming shows are discussed. Afterwards we just go back to talking knives. Every month we have a knife contest where a specific type of knife is the category and we vote on our favorite knife brought in by members. The winner gets $20. 4 times a year we have a custom knife drawing and someone wins a free knife.

Paid membership isn't required, but if you want to be a paid member, it's $12.00 a year or $6 if you are retired. It's also $6 if you join during the second half of the year. A paid membership gets you free entry to the show we put on each January, and makes you eligible to win the custom knife drawing at the monthly meetings.

I was there for the first time last year, I joined the club and got a table for this year.

I have been heavily involved in the knife world for the last 15 years or so. (Primarily at the St. Louis area gun and knife shows). I would venture a guess that we know each other, face to face.

I will be setting up tables on Friday the 23rd, and will be there when the doors open on Saturday the 24th. I will stop by your table and introduce myself.

I'll be there! Last year was my first time and it was great. Got some nice handle materials.

Looks like I will be able to attend this for the first time -

Sounds like fun, and then a run to Pappy's for some ribs.

best
