I was fortunate enough to attend Ethans spring gathering this year and lucky enough to be able to attend next week. In the spring Derek posted a helpfull thread about what kind of stuff are you bringing and what kind of stuff would you like others to bring. For example:along with my good looks and charm, I will be bringing a assortment of my knives that will be available for anyone to test, play, purchase, or trade. As far as what i would like others to bring, last spring Erik brought a small forge set up. I know it is a lot of trouble but that was sooooooo cool and I really didnt get to play around with it as much as I wanted to. Also, i love trying different beers. I know Gus told me he was going to try to win my heart with some canadian ale and for those of you that have never tasted any of pointy's home brew, to say your in for a treat is a understatement. So hope this helps for anyone that will be in attendence. and please everyone be safe in there travels!

I don't have anything too cool like the rest of you guys, so I'm bringing my winning personality, and a thirst for knowledge!

I'm bringing nothing to incur the wrath of a TSA body cavity search, just clothing, sleeping gear and headlamp.

Come North and grab some good beer. :) I can't attend (working my rifle club's deer sight-in), but one of these time's I'll have to commit to making the trip.

I got a couple of extra blades (dur) if there is anything I got that you wanna use I can bring for you to carry that weekend.

Just bringing the usual. Dynamite, lube, defrib machine, bail money...etc.

lmao, thats great tradewater. except being arrested WITH your bail money on you isnt a good idea, by the time your arraigned it will be gone stolen or just not on the books. leave that with your better half!

double up on dynamite tho :)

I'll bring the portable fire pit, anvil, hammers, and maybe some scrap steel - unless Todd has some 1084 or 1060 scraps laying around he wants to bring -- rebar takes a LOT of heat before it's ready to move, not as bad as 52100, but not as good as some of the others.
I had hoped to have a propane forge done, but the kaowool I had on the way didn't show up last week like I was promised.

When are you firing up that rig 1066vik? We did not get a full chance to see it in action last time.

Todd, we're already working on your beer list!

Friday or Saturday - whenever folks want to.
all it needs is a mattress inflator or hand crank blower...

Guns, knives, tomahawks, bows, and a tazer to keep the moose outa my hammock. ;)

Well...not really able to bring any special goodies or anything. Not like I could afford enough of any decent alcohol for the whole gang...I was going to bring a new custom by a knife maker out of Indiana but he got pretty sick a while back so I don't think that will happen :P. I am going to bring a few different blades though, and enough various materials to do a work shop on fire starting, even some advanced stuff, but other than that probably just my camera and my usual bad attitude :)

Murph.....bring that Hennessy that I didn't get to look at last time. As for me, I don't really have anything to bring to the table but I will be bringing my wife and that is generally a treat in itself. :)

Ark, feel free t o ship me anything you want me to "hold on to" for you till you get here..... I just had to deal with this, as my son came down from Wisconsin this summer for a week and I bought him his first Becker a BK-16. Then I had to ship it to him when he went home... TSA sucks!

Actually, I got K-9 Handler's FFG 17 Pass around knife tonight and it is a beautiful knife. I was asked to take it to the gathering and let others play with it.
