It`s getting to be time (wishfull thinking) to start thinking about our Gatherings.I know I plan on having my regular one sometime in May. mqqn mentioned something about a Fishing Gathering near him, and outdoorsfan said something to me about a Wild Edibles Gathering. Let`s start thinking about dates so everyone has time to plan for them, and if anyone else has any ideas, let`s hear them!
 
An overnight camp/hike trip near the water sounds nice. Or, an "ATF" day at that quarry you guys were talking about.

Hi Guys -

The only date in the warmer weather that I have a conflict with right now is the first week of August - that will be my motorcycle trip this year - tentatively.

For a gathering at my house - I have two lakes available, and we could bank fish, and I have a two-man row-boat that we could take turns going out in.

We could have a small fishing derby - might be fun.

I could grill something of course and we could have a little party in my back yard.

I will ask Maggie about some dates and then post a poll to pick the one that works for the most JK'ers .

I would be very up for an overnight camping trip somewhere as well.

Another cool thing would be to have us meet and go to a gun range where we could have a little fun firing our pieces. I'll make sure to load up plenty of .500 magnum :D :thumbup:. I know of a great, inexpensive indoor range in Chicago that we could meet at, or we could do Buffalo Pit , or if one of you know of a range we could go to, I am game.

Maybe, as part of the next Gathering, we could each bring $20 worth of item(s) that we've found at flea markets, Dollar Stores, yard sales, etc. and then do some trading or kind of a secret Santa where we all pick a number and that's who's stuff you get?

That sounds like fun! I'm pretty much open for dates except for the first part of April, we have a trip planned!
