One of the treasures I picked up in Little Rock. Blade is 9" of forged, clay tempered 1084, stainless fittings and ironwood handle. Gonna use it too. :)

Dang it, Keith. You're gonna have to get a life. I need time to post the other picture! :)

Here's the other side. Looks much better in person than in these crappy pics of mine. Brett Gatlin is gonna be one of the best.

A REALLY good looking score Danbo!
Congrats to Mr. Gatlin for some outstanding work!

Well its not my fault you're such a slow poke. :p

Get a life? What a novel concept. I'm going to have to give that a great deal of consideration.

Nice! Next time you're coming through town, you gotta bring that one with you.

I definitely like what I've seen of Gatlin's knives thus far and this is my favorite. That clean, crisp bowie is right up my alley. Nice ironwood too. Good eye as always Danbo!

Brett is one of the new guys that we are gonna need to keep an eye on.
I think we ought to go ahead and break all his fingers.
Danbo was showing the bowie to me a LR. He had a big ol' grin on his face cause he got to it before the other guys.
Brett's work gets cleaner every knife and his lines and design are already very good.
A nicer gentleman it would be hard to find, to boot.

Yep, Brett is a fine gentleman and I'm honored to count him as one of my friends.

Danbo did good. Now's the time to get on the Gatlin bandwagon while he's still building up steam. All too often folks wait too long when a guy's starting to get a little attention. Then when his prices start going up they think, "Why didn't I get one of these early on"?

Gentlemen, your comments are very much appreciated. It is such an amazing feeling to create something that others enjoy.

Thanks again,
Brett

Yeah, just wait til I booger it up, and come cryin to you to clean it up! :D

Another fine score Danbo!

Sometimes I do regret being on this side of the Rockies... some dang fine makers over there and they rarely get over to this coast...

Thank somebody for the 'net - so I can still see 'em!

:D

I've got googly eyes just staring at that... Hope noone minds, just downloaded that pic for my future reference and ogling ... Jason.

Danbo, do you mind emailing me how much that thing/Brett's knives cost? I don't see any pricing on his website...
