I grew up in Anderson Village, AK. I went to school with a kid named Teddy Meyers (couple years ahead of me). His dad gave my dad a knife. After I lost my father to cancer, it became my knife. One day (around '06) I saw some in a Bass Pro, in Orlando FL. I didn't have time to talk to the clerk about them but thought "Wow, they sure made it pretty far south". Just for laughs, (a few years ago) I tried to Google one, to see if they were still being sold. I found out Teddy's dad (Gator) was dead and there seems to be very few of these knives floating around. The few I could find were listed as sold. I have yet to find one that is available and mine isn't either. I would kind of like to know what I have here tho. Obviously, I need to stop storing it in the leather sheath and get that tarnish off the brass but I'd like to know just how special (sentiment aside) this thing is. Hopefully the picture will show it but - there are little chunks of gold in the sheep's eyes.
If y'all know more about this, than I do, clue a brother in please. Thanks.
Edit - Wow, those pix suck! The carving on the handle is actually pretty intricate
