I was working on (read `restoring') a thoroughly rusted machete yesterday and noticed that there was a particularly large amount traveling under the grip.
"This ain't good" came to mind, and decided to re-grip the thing after stripping all the corrosion.
It came to me while fishing today......"Gators all over the place!" No, not Al, but "road-gators." Old tire blow-outs up and down the hiway.
I stopped and picked up a few more-interesting examples and thought these might just work as nonslip grips for my machete.
Has anyone tried this?
Thanks,
Jim L.
