Anyone have any information on this new sharpening system coming out other than the fact that it will better sharpen recurve and hawkbills? Sal says he was testing a prototype on spyderco forums...hopeful someone has more info on here lol

I would love to hear more as well. I was really hoping for pics from the Amsterdam meet. I guess this one is still a ways out.

I don't know much, if anything at all... but I vaguely remember reading somewhere that it would use cateye shaped stones (cross-section), and some sort of star shaped hole for a maximum variety of different stone surface exposures at set angles when you rotate them...
