Gave my knife a steam cleanin'

I bought one of those portable steam cleaners yesterday and I went on a steam cleanin' frenzy, I did the crap that accumulates in the track of the back deck sliding door, the refrigerator rubber door seals, the airconditioner vents and finally,... my knife It was an all SS Pat Crawford so I wasn't worried about scales or any thing.

It did a great job cleaning the years accumulated gunk, old lube, and the sticky juice from freezy pops I've opened, in fact it did such a nice job I cleaned a few others, all with aluminum, titanium, or stainless handles/scales.

Anyone ever try steam?
