Ok, here we go.......... We, well my wife is due tomorrow 12/28 with our second child, as most of you regulars know I was gifted a chestnut bone cv peanut by my wife from my daughter soon after she was born and have carried it everyday for the last two years. So what I want to do is have a contest, we don't know what we are having, so I was thinking who ever guesses the sex, and the closest baby weight wins a brand new Case chestnut bone cv peanut like mine, I haven't bought it yet, because I literally just thought of this giveaway, so what I'm thinking to speed the delivery ( of the knife ) along is when the winner is picked I might just have it shipped direct from a vendor to the winner.

Example sex trumps weight meaning
If you guess a boy at 6 pounds 2oz
And it's a girl 6 pounds 2 oz you don't win, but if the closest guess without going over was a girl 5 pound 9 oz that person would win.

So you need to guess the sex and the closest weight without going over.

If two people guess the same sex and weight who ever posted first wins, so check previous post before you make your pick.

For consistency list in pounds and ounces

Hope this makes sense, contest open to all regular traditional posters, minimum of 10 post here in the traditional forum, contest will run until baby is born and I'll announce the sex and weight.

Congrats on the pending new addition to the family! I'll guess boy at 7lbs 8 oz. Best wishes for a healthy baby and an easy delivery for your wife bro:thumbup:

From the 12/29 newspaper headlines. - "A new baby girl, weighing in at 7 pounds 6 ounces. Both Mother and Daughter doing great. Most folks say she looks like her proud Papa....only prettier"

What a neat idea. I'll play!
Girl. 7 pounds, 2 ounces.

Oh, and congratulations, of course :D

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Must be a pretty exciting time for you! Anyway, I predict a Boy, 7 lb. 4 oz.

Congratulations Pete, on the expanding family!

I'll go for a boy (counter balance, you know) at 6 pounds, 8 ounces.

Congrats Pete. From one DOAP to another. (Dad of a peanut)

I'll throw my hat in, but we'll have to see.....how about a girl weighing 7 lbs 4 oz. Great idea for a gaw, btw.

Cool idea!! I'm gonna guess a girl, 8lbs 14oz. Guessing that because that is what my daughter weighed when she was born! Good luck to you and your wife! Hope it's a smooth effortless birth!!

Nothing is more blessed than the birth of a child. Congratulations!

Boy 7 pounds 2 ounces
