WINNER ANNOUNCED #26 SEND ME YOUR NAME AND MAILING ADDRESS!

Just say I'm in and that's your entry. No rules.

I reprofiled this one and knocked the secondary bevel off of its edge as I found that it became slicier when I did that. But the story is that a cool BF member who wanted to remain anonymous randomly sent me this. I had forgotten about a year ago he won one of my GAW. He took the knife that I sent him improved it with new scales and then sent it to a charity auction for cancer. In another GAW I had learned that the BF member sent off the knife that I sent him to military at an AFB who were about to deploy. Still another BF member in a GAW gave it to his neighbor who was used to using bad knives.

Pretty glad that people are not hoarding knives and putting the users to good use or send them off to someone else to be used.

In any case this one has no clip. I put a toothy edge on it as the Byrd 8CR13 blades seem a little different than their Spyderco branded 8CR knives and do much better with a toothier edge.

GAW is open to anyone and I hope that you put it to good use just say im in.

I'm in. The only Byrd knife I have is a Byrd Robin and is a little on the smaller side. This one looks to be more of a Delica size which would be even better as a daily user. For a Chinese made knife I find them to be very good quality for the cost. Thanks for the giveaway and the opportunity.

i'm in, i have a spyderco knife and have been interested to try the byrd brand thanks for the GAW.

Not an entry ~~ but that is a very nice GAW there "Chu" ~~ everybody under rates the Byrd Knives by Spyderco ~~ but you just can"t beat them for the price.! Good users. Good luck everybody.*^^

I'm in! I still don't have a Spyderco knife, although I've got one of their whetstones, and my father has one of their Street Bowies.

Thanks wolf man! I reprofiled it and it cuts super well! What's nice about the Byrd line are the flat scales, it doesn't take up much room in the pocket for a full size edc!

I'm in. My younger brother would really like this knife (after I gave it the once over of course!:))

I'm in. Have wanted to try one of the Byrd knives since I learned of them.

I'm in! I lost the only Spyderco I ever bought two weeks after I bought it in high school. Just getting back into knives now 15 years later.
