OK, so every knife has to have a clever name - other than "Gunstock". So, come up with (and post here) the best name for a modern traditional Gunstock pattern and you win. If all the submissions are pitiful, I will random draw a post number. Ends 9/26/20 Noon Central

What do you win? Had a customer, that must have no computer or smart phone or anything else, that declined a Canvas Beer & Sausage knife due to weak action on the comb. Had he only known it was a $3000 knife, he may have done it differently. I tried to tell him.... but now it is someone else's knife.

How about Shooter McGavin :D

Carbine
Long Carbine
Carabine
Longrifle
Meylin
Haymaker

All drawn from the freeform connection between gunstock > frontier rifle. Meylin and Haymaker were historical gunsmiths who developed long rifles. :)

How about target or crackshot . All the old timers around here call a .22 rifle a Target .Tom
