I am still fairly new to the board and the porch here. One thing that immediately stood out to me is how connected and generous the members are in this section of the forum. Not long ago I was surprised with a knife as a runner up to a gaw, a nice Buck 301. Since then I knew I needed to return the favor. For two reasons: one being to return the generosity, and two because the Buck replaced this knife. I thought 100 posts was as good a time to do this as any!

This Case Medium stockman in what I believe is sawcut antique bone was what I chose to whittle with. There are several things about this knife that just didn't work out for me so I'm here to pass it on. It's not been used or carried much. There is slight blade rub on the sheepsfoot. And it also came without a box.

Open to everyone. I like the gaws that tell us about yourself. To enter, please list your profession. If you're retired, you can't enter! I will let this run for a week (midnight CST on 3/7) before I use a random number generator.

Kidding of course

A Case medium stockman with round bolsters, slender clip, and nearly sunk joints is VERY appealing to me!
I'm in, please.

Very nice of you, I'm in! I have had quite a few different jobs over the years, but right now I've been a movie theator manager for a large multiplex for the last 8 years.

Thanks for the chance, I'm in. I'm a customer service representative for a local cell provider, which means I spend all day saying "have you tried turning it off and on again?"
