First off, what a great little knife! Titanium, silver twill, and CPM-M4! How can you go wrong?
It's a beautifully designed gentleman's folder, which is the role I've been primarily using it for. With that said, I've been thinking about how great a scaled up, EDC type, pocket clip friendly Air would be! It definitely would be at the top of my "to buy" list!

Is there anyone else who wants to see this happen as bad as me?

Would have to be brought back in production first. I'd expect it would be Bradley who would want the clip to make this happen. Could be wrong, of course.

honestly, i would be happy to just get my hands on a clipless original. not to say i would mind the edc version ;)

I've admired the Air for a while, and the only reason I never bought one is the lack of a pocket clip. I'd be interested in a slightly larger version, but even one the same size with a clip would be great.

I asked about the Air on the forum before and the responses I got back was that the knife had very little detent so would be best carried in a pocket slip. Now if it had a pocket clip I could slide it in tight to the seam of my pocket and feel more secure.

How is the detent on yours?

This is a legitimate concern .
I would never carry my Air just loose in one of my larger pockets for fear of it opening .
I have carried it in my coin pocket and felt safe doing that .
But a slip or sheath is much safer .
I have asked before why the option of a clip was never offered and was told it was a close decision but it was thought better to leave it off .
A huge mistake in my opinion .

I guess I got lucky, no complaints about the detent on mine. I just checked it and I have to shake it pretty hard before it will deploy.

Have you tried a Centofante 4? It's certainly not M4, but its a great design that feels like a bigger Air.

The Air is just such an amazing knife these Gayle Bradley Spydercos are at the top of their catagories. The Gayle Bradley 1 and 2 are amazing in their own right. I haven't tried the Advocate but the Airnis just a top of the line gentleman's folder. I always thought it looked sort of like the Spyderco Kiwi's pimper and doper younger brother who gets all the ladies.

But honestly a Spyderco Air pumped up to like Delica size would be an amazing blade.

Btw the blade is very light. Not much chance of it opening in pocket. My detent was fine.

I really like my air and do carry it but not often and have no issues with it not having a clip. Every other knife I have does, I quite like the change

I actually love the knife without the pocket clip. I rather have a leather sheath (pocket clip on the sheath, may be). However, I'd like to have a landyard hole or spacer that I can loop a landyard on it.

Next to Benchmade 440 and 482, it is one of my favorite small knives.
