Gayle Bradley or Ti Millie? That is the question...

I'm torn as to which one to order first. The funds are limited, and i own several Millies, but the Ti, because it's different is drawing me to it. But the Bradley has such great reviews and seems like a great knife for the money.

I'm sure I'll get the other in a few months, but which one should i pull the trigger on first?

the titanium millie is in a different league than the gayle bradley in almost every aspect other than blade steel!!

I have the Titanium Military and have handled the GB. I like the Ti military as well as the regular military more. The ergonomics are much more comfortable for me and the blade has my preferred grind. The problem I had with the GB is that it felt like a brick in my hand, meaning it wasn't that comfortable and was on the heavy side, but that is not to say the Ti Millie isn't heavy. The shallow choil and low hole placement sealed the deal for me. I had the option to get a GB or a Orange Millie and went with the Millie.

I am happy with my Ti Mi. The GB looks like an awesome knife. If it could be carried tip-down I'd pick one up.

So the Ti definitely has more to offer,

I know that money wise it's no comparison, but the CR Liner lock (same as the Sage 2), really is nice. and the Ti has just a WOW factor.

But the glowing reviews on the GB has me so intrigued... I really appreciate the comments on how it feels tho, as the Military is such a large knife in my stable.

Yeah, it is huge. I have it pictured with a Delica and a Paramilitary. I plan on carrying it until the Para 2 comes out.

the D2 Para is one of my EDC's, along with a Stretch (My Top choice) and the Sage's

I'm also waiting for the Para2, tho i really have no complaints about the D2 Para, it fits my hand no matter how i grip it choil or not.

The Millie is just a brute of a knife, and that's what drew me to the Gayle Bradley

I own both, and they are completely different knives. Very subjective about which to get first, since they both cut things just fine. :)

Since you have several Millies, I would vote for the Bradley.

Is the Ti Military a sprint run? If so, might want to go that route before they disappear.

See, I have been completely unhelpful.

Ti Military is Limited Production, 50-100 pieces a month.

I have a Ti Military, but think it's far too heavy compared to the G10 Military to be a keeper. Have no experience with the GB.

i recently handled both, and of the two i prefer the bradley.

four position clip, buttery smooth, m4 steel, better blade-handle ratio, and fantastic fit/finish.

the millie is pretty great too, and both will probably be around a while, neither are sprint runs.

but until i can get a tip up millie from the factory, i wont be picking up another.

I believe in function it will be the same as the current, limited run, Ti Millies.

Though these will have a black, g10 scale on the non locking side.

I could be wrong, but that seems to be the gist of it.

awesome... so, in essence i get the best of both worlds with the Knifeworks exclusive!

I'm aiming and scraping up money for the Titanium Millie myself. Never had a Military, or a titanium RIL knife and I like longer blades in folders. Perhaps I should have joined the wait list for the M-4 Millie way back in Autumn but I'm not completely sold on the Ti/G-10 construction yet and I don't really buy anything that hasn't got any user feedback. Or even a product photo. :D

The GB looks promising and the reviews have been great, but I dunno, it's not quite the thing I feel for sure that I must have. I can get one later or keep an eye on the concept and see what it evolves into. Time will tell.

Yeah, yeah.. I should get them all but that's a little more difficult. :)

Well after all is said and done, and i really appreciate the comments, I've decided to pull the trigger on the Gayle Bradley first. I honestly forgot that the Knifeworks Military was Ti also, and I'm on the pre-order of that one. If, funds allow then I'll get the Ti Military in a few months.

I hope they are still around by then. Thanks once again for the help.

Being an inveterate tinkerer, I got both the Ti Military and the C/F S90V Military. My original idea was to make a hybrid with Ti on the lock side and Carbon fiber on the other with an S90V blade in the middle. The weight savings didn't justify the hassle (22gm). So I moved the S90V blade to the Ti handle and got a quite usable knife. The difference in weight between the C/F model and the Ti model is 44gm (118gm for the former and 162gm for the latter).
