It's the "Sherman Tank" of Spydies! Man, this thing is robust! "Built like a tank" really does describe the construction of this folder from Spyderco. And, it feels that way in the hand. It's not a lightweight!

Action is VERY smooth, and the blade is SICK-SHARP! The liner lock is difficult to disengage, though. Very stiff and there's not a big cut-out access like the Sage has, for example.

From what I've heard, the GB maintains significant blade thickness out to the tip. Any chance you could post a photo that would show this?

It sure does. Beefy is the word that keeps coming to my mind. I'll see if I can do that tomorrow. Home now. Camera at office.
