I think this blade is more of an R.I.L. than a liner lock. The carbon fiber is really more of an overlay than anything and I just watched a review of the Lambert Inferno and it had a similar make with scales over a frame and it's classified as a framelock. My question is, what is everyone's take on this? Is it more of a framelock or more of a linerlock? I know Sal said liner but it seems like a framelock to me.

Btw, Thanks to morimotom. I'm going to be doing a Gayle Bradley review soon even though they have probably already been done many times.

I would go with liner lock since the entire handle is pretty much covered with the CF scale.

Definitely a liner lock, but I know what you are saying. A CRK Mnandi is considered a framelock even though it has an overlay.

It's a liner lock. But it's a liner lock that's stronger than a lot of framelocks.

To me it is a liner lock. In my opinion a framelock is a framelock when some part of your hand helps keeps the lock in place when opened. With the Gayle Bradley your hand does not help keep the lock in place when opened.

It's a great knife, nice blade shape, excellent steel, top notch ergonomics and materials. Well worth the price.

That is the truth.
