I'm sure this has been brought up before:
Do you think "they" will produce a 3" Gayle Bradly? For the small handed?
I had a GB 1 and loved the blade.....crazy sharp, smooth slicer, not hard to sharpen.
;)Like a rock in my pocket.

After the massive swing and miss that the 2 is hopefully...there’s also the mantra series or the Bradley air if you want something with M4 in a smaller package.

Yes, the Mantra is the right size.
Kind of thin in the handle though, I like the GB's handle.

Swing and a miss? The 2 is awesome and still one of the best knife values out there. I like both the 1 and the 2 but probably prefer the 2. Just my opinion though. ;)

I could see the demand for a 3" Bradley folder. I could also see the demand for a 4" Bradley folder. ;) I like bigger knives. :D

...massive swing and a miss?

I clearly missed the memo, 'cuz it's one of my favorite knives of all time. I never one of the cool kids, though, so what so I know.

I currently have and love a GB1.
But I miss having a GB2 because it is a completely different feeling knife.

But if your looking for something smaller and for light duty but feels like a GB.

Get a Sage.

I recently got a GB2 and it feels great in hand.
I really like it and I am using it as a work knife.

I didn't had the possibility to get my hands on a GB1 but I think they should be 2 very different kind of knives.

The GB2 is really a good knife but I understand that the lovers of the GB1 may have been disappointed.

They are both great knives. The differences (if you like one or other better) are about personal preferences. Both are home runs!!

I like both the GB1 and 2 for different reasons. GB1 for work, GB2 for EDC.

I like the idea of a 3” GB3.

I’m wondering if people would prefer a chopped version (1/2” off the blade and handle but remains the same physical size) or a slightly miniaturized GB.

For knives with 3” blades, I like the miniaturized types. I prefer working knives around 3.5” and light use EDCs at 3”. I have big hands. Smaller blades = smaller handles which are less safe for me while working. If not working I prefer the, all around, smaller folder.

With that said, I can understand people wanting a chopped version for a more sturdy 3” folder that fits smaller hands better.

I remember JBmonkey saying he would like a GB2 with the liner thickness of the GB1. I like that idea too.

What type of GB3 would y’all want to see?

I've had four or five GB1's and two GB2's. The GB1 is a great knife, but yes, it is ...big...too big for me.
I still have a GB2 sitting here and am about to dremel a bit from the grip so that I can get an easier locked-blade release. A great knife, IMO.

A mini GB would be nice.
There was a thread where someone actually modified a GB2 to a mini.

After the massive swing and miss that the 2 is

That was great, I needed a laugh!

I would love to see a GB3 in a little more compact size (think PM3 size), narrower overall profile and.......in stainless (no M4, oh the horror!). 1 & 2 are a little big for office carry.

I said swing and miss because instead of capitalizing on and expanding the good traits of the GB 1 (big hole, lanyard hole, thick liners, balance) they made a follow on that feels like a cheapened version of it. they got rid of several good traits and introduced many bad ones.

I've had a 2 and hated it, the tiny hole, no lanyard hole, thin sharp liners, sharp liner edges that stick uncomfortably out from the scales, no thanks. The 2 does not feel like a Taichung knife to me in comparison to others made there.

I wish they had kept the basic shape of the 1 and had gone with Ti liners (which was rumored), a reshaped area near the pivot to create a better guard/choil and somewhat reduced thickness overall.

I love both knives, even if the GB2 is very different. I'm absolutely looking forward to a GB3.

Believe it or not, the Firefly actually feels kinda like a mini GB1 in hand...

I've had the 1 & 2 and I much prefer the 2. Their was 1 thing that bothered me and that was the difficulty reaching the lockbar with the thumb to close the Knife. I understand that this was the wish of Gayle Bradley himself. It didn't work well for me so I had a friend increase the size of the thumb choil and now I can flick it all I want. Opening the knife is much easier now. It made a knife that I was not crazy about and turned it into one of my top 10 favorites. Flickability is now a 10 as is the whole knife. Their are days when I prefer to carry it instead of my Manix's and PM2's. It is now getting stiff competition from my Shaman which I had Carbon Fiber scales for.
In conclusion The GB2 is a great knife and the choil Mod makes it a fantastic knife. If it was made in M390 I would be the first on the Pre-order line to get one with real CF.
