GB blade geometry

Can any of you Stride Blade afficionados give me a sharpness comparison between the GB vs. a production Buck Strider. I realize they're both 'working' blades, but I can't seem to get the Buck as sharp as some of my other blades (utility sharp is about it).

I don't have the $$ to pick up a GB or AR yet, but I was just curious about blade geometry. Any info is very much appreciated.

When we submitted the design to Buck, we were unsure about their manufacturing capabilities.
We wanted to be sure the blade didn?t lose any of its ?tool? orientation.
It has a pretty thick cross section.
The cutting edge on the GB and AR are a bit more refined.

If all works out, I will be giving you guys a call soon regarding a new GB or AR. As for sending back the Buck Strider, I'll just pass it on to the Mrs. and she can add it to the 3 she already carries on duty!
