GB for sale

Yeah its a good deal, but beware, I contacted the guy and made him an offer, he told me he would take my offer. He sent me his address and I inquired about the scratch he listed. a day later he tells me someone offered him 40 bucks more than my offer and now he wants me to hold off on sending him the money order. Yah, I guess he has the right to back out of the deal for more money, but its not the best way to do business. Not really mad just dissapointed about this type of behavior thats all.

hmmm, gee, that email seems familiar, oh I KNOW, hes the douche that was banned here for spamming the AR he was selling AND not wanting to buy a gold membership:barf:

Fishy, it seems that he cancelled the GB auction, most likely because he could get a better price for it elsewhere. I hate when sellers sell at multiple places and cancel like that.

I had my eye on the SA, but with this sort of behaviour, I'm just not going to to risk $200. Has anybody seen a place with the AD for sale? That's what I'm really looking for.
 
It figures the deal was too good to be true. Appreciate the heads up on this guy.

This brings up a good issue; what is the proper way to offer Striders for sale to members of this forum without breaking the rules?

For example, I was laid off during several months this summer. Further, my wife and I had to rescue a homeless cackatoo, which was an unanticipated expense.

I have an SnG on order, which I think is the better size for my needs. This makes my AR an expensive toy. Sure, I'd love to keep the AR, but I need to pay bills.

This post is being written from a library since we are not on the web at home. In December, after the SnG arrives and I've had a chance to look at it, how can I notify the Strider guys about my AR, arrange payment and inspection of my knife, and not offend Mick and Duayne?
