I've had my GB for about 20 hours now and only one think urks me ofther than my sore thumb from playing with it all yesterday.
Why not make the point grind as sharp as the rest of the blade? From the transition point to the tip of my GB is sporting a very wide angle(i'm guessing 30Degrees PER SIDE not total). What's the reason for making it this way? Can I send it in to be ground with the same bevel as the rest of the blade? If so how long would the turnaround time be? I'm not bitching, I'm just interested in the reasoning for it out of curiosity. When I get the time I'll even it out with the main bevel, if I can't send it in.
