Here is our first try with a titanium tritium thumbstud on a GB.

You can see where we got the titanium from for this prototype. ;)

We think it came out purty darn cool.

Most likely we'll end up offering these tritium thumbstuds on the small limited runs of the Strider Boys' custom version folders.

Nice job, Patrick. I dig it. I'm going to have to get one of those folders to go with the thumbstud. (BTW, where I come from, calling someone a thumbstud is fightin' words!)
 
Patrick, please make these available to those of us that already have the folders. I want 2 !

hhmmm..

perhaps if your company suffers a rolling blackout and you're stuck in the elevator with a executive who suddenly needs an emergency tracheotomy. the fastest way to deploy your blade would be by finding the thumbstud with the tritium! ;)

...just kidding!... :)

I was trying to think up some scenario, using that creative writing course method I once took, and I couldn't think of a darn thing. Maybe, like a Die Hard scenario. Oh well, I will just have to keep thinking and saving.

Ed.. oh was that strider folder yours? I was in TAD a few days back and it was just lying around.. I used it to pick my nails and I think the dog was chewing on it :)

j/k it's a swell knife dude.. I am sure you will love it.

This knife turned up today. It is everything that I expected - awesome for my first Strider. The only thing that could be done better would be to cut out the top swedge some.

Patrick and the boys even cleaned the marks off......but they would not give me a second user discount - they said I needed to ask you for the money.
