Last week I spoke to GB of South Carolina. Their facility burned to the ground during the month of December. Needless to say there is nothing in stock and it is expected to be another couple of months before they have anything. The price for a replacement hatchet handle is $25 regardless of the model, to include the mini. Suggested retail for the mini, from them, is $128. There is going to be a significant price increase for all GB products this summer which will put the mini up to perhaps $145. I just thought that this information would be of interest to some of you.

Yikes! Glad I stocked up when they were cheap!
I have found them for even less with a good deal of searching. I have learned two things thou. First is wether or not they have them in stock and you may have to add one to your cart and proceed thru a partial checkout to determine this. Second, is to check on shipping. Many offer free shipping while others will charge 10-15. Makes a big difference.
