Gb2 or manix2?

So I need to choose between the manix 2 in g10, (which I already had and loved in the saber grind configuration but lost) or a Gb2. Which would y'all recommend & why? Thank you fellow spyderholics for stealing me deeper into this web of steel.

I'd go for the Gayle Bradley 2. I never was a fan of the G10 Manix's jimping or the amount of space it hogged in pocket. I also much prefer a liner lock to Spyderco's ball-bearing lock (preference based on use more so than strength).
 
not a manix fan either. nothing wrong with it....i just prefer other knives. id go gb2 as well.
 
I like the Manix 2 better and my OG Manix "XL" lock back..
Wasn't a big fan of the brick, the GB felt like, in hand or pocket..
 
Manix 2 in a blurple g10 with S110V. Or wait and see if a gray g10 with Maxamet comes out. Have and love the GB 1&2 as well but like the CBB lock better.
 
Since you don't mind the size of the Manix 2, the biggest question is which lock type you prefer. The GB2 is a liner lock but a bit more difficult to use than most due to its configuration. The GB1 was conceived as a work knife although I consider my Manix 2 to be a work knife. I understand the GB2 is lighter and people say it seems less solid but I haven't tried one myself. I suspect either knife would work very well for most uses.
 
I think I'm a go with the gb2 to try something different. I can always get another manix another day. Thank y'all.

GB1 is a good slicer. I guess GB2 would be a better slicer given the thinner blade than GB1, although I don't own GB2.
Manix 2 is a solid knife with a good lock system but not a slicer due to the shallow grind and the resultant thick edge.
If you like a slicer, I would recommend GB2 over Manix.
