PBR? You are a damn redneck! I'm sipping Cazadores tonight. That's about the only "expensive" tastes I have in life.

Leinies Fireside Nut Brown here... can't put the stuff down, it's like drinkin' candy. I like that TRP setup, though I'm not too hot on SA stuff in general. I like the Novaks and the texture on the grips. Very clean and utilitarian looking.

Yeah I figured you would have known that after Blade Show. The nice thing about PBR is you can leave your beer someplace & it will still be there the next time you visit.

I don't mind it-for midweek dinners of pizza, cheap steaks and camp stew as a college student, 7 bucks for a case of longnecks isn't a bad deal at all.

Well, be at my place next Spring. We have a gool rock and roll band hired for the weekend and all the Cazadores you can drink. Screw these mild campouts!

In these economic times I can't keep up with the imports to often.

Being on the GI Bill, I've had enough to justify buying a six pack of decent beer for real meals on the weekend, and a case of PBR for the week. I like it alot-13-15 bucks a week isn't too bad. You lose appreciation for the good beers if you drink em all the time... besides, I think PBR has alot more body to it than most other cheap beers. Bud Light is like drinking water...

I'm drinking PBR & you want me go on a road trip............yeah I may do that.

Come on Jeff how can you hate on the PBR, it's award winning. I think you've spent to much time south of the border and need to come up to the north country and hang out for a bit. Killstew you are right too, in college I drank a lot of PBR, and if I forgot any in somebodies fridge then they stayed right there until I got back to drink them.

i love the grip texture. the 20 lpi checkering on the front strap is very grippy but also very hard on bare hands. i can only shoot maybe 30-40 rounds tops before it gets too painful. but with winter gloves that gun isn't going anywhere. it just sticks and sticks.

1911s always look best "cocked, locked and ready to rock!" :D

i agree. my bed-side companion :D

Thanks all the positive feedback guys. It's good to know that I made a descent purchase.

I'm in. PM me with the date and location, I got everything else:D.

Nice SA TRP. I like SA, they've been making JMB's baby for as long as Colt. I didn't know this until I took a tour of the place, but they actually have the proto that JMB based the specs on, in a case there. Way Cool. Moose
