<gear heads> hear what your muffler swap will do before you do it!

Ya get to hear engine/muffler combos...

I may be a Redneck, but I hope I'm not alone!!! :p

Nothing like the sound of a full race exhaust system on an inline-4 sport bike at high rpms. Muzzy or Akrapovic. Yeah, I have a Kawasaki. :-)

... A full race open header... WEED WACKER!

Kidding... hehe!

I like the sound also, just wish that they made exhausts with more rumble and less buzz for the import stuff!

Gotta get a V-Twin sport bike( or cruiser) for the rumble sound. Inline-4 bike might rumble a bit at idle, but that goes when the rpm increase.

I guess if ya split the header to 2 on one side, to on the other, and had em on each side of the bike... you "might" get some sort of difference in noise. Less cancelation, but also less of a vacuum... err forget the term, exhaust from one cylinder pulls the exhuast from the other out... increases with less backpreasure, an is why ya use a cross over pipe on a V8...

Ugh whats it called! <sizzle> there goes my brain

I've got a Bassani X-pipe (with cats) and Dynomax UltraFlow SS mufflers on my stang. I love the sound. Throaty rumble at idle, and only gets loud when I really stomp on it, so my neighbors don't mind.

I have roadhouse 2in1's on my vstar and really love the sound and performance. The pipes arn't very loud by todays standards though but I like em fine. A nice deep rumble.

Big pistons make the rumble.
My buddy's 440 'Cuda had big pistons :)

Yep... that an high compression, I like for my motors to go WHAP WHAP WHAP!

Like somebody wrappin on a steel drum, guess thats why I also like Calypso?
