Hey all,

Been on a Pemberton kick as of late. Never had a slipjoint this small and never thought I would love it so much. I love the tiny Coke bottle pattern. I am starting to understand now how @jackknife loves the Peanut pattern so much.

So here's a couple pics. My white bone wharnie Pemberton gets the most carry time. I've carried it almost daily for 2 months. I started a new job in February and I needed a small knife that wouldn't scare people. What I thought would be temporary has become permanent. I love the little knife and it does 99% of what I need a knife to do. That patina is natural for those wondering, although I did use Flitz to remove the Northfield marking on the blade.

So, on a whim, I bought this SFO Schatt & Morgan wharnie. It actually reminds me of the old Queens. I'm happy to say that the fit and finish on this 2017 model is actually pretty good. This S&M Wharnie has black micarta handles and a pearl shield. The blade is a tad over 3" long.

I love single blade wharnies.

My question to you folks...

What GEC pattern can I buy that is bigger than a Pemberton but smaller than the S&M? Looking for a single blade wharnie that has about a 2.5" to 2.8" blade.

Definitely... The 55/56 Wharncliffe is a real gem. I've been searching for one at a price I can handle, but without any luck yet.

I'll have to dig it out and measure it but it can't be much as it's a very small frame, possibly under 3" even? It's really beautifully finished but not big....
